Hallo zusammen
Vor einigen Tagen wurde mir dieses etwas ältere Feuerdiabolo geschenkt:

Was brauche ich dafür genau?
Ich habe gelesen, dass ich eine Kevlarschnurr sowie Lampenöl und Sprit brauche. (85% Öl / 15% Sprit ist das richtig??)
Auf der Seite des Diabolos befinden sich ja diese "Tücher" die man tränken muss. Muss man diese nach jeder Benützung ersetzen? Wenn ja, womit?
Wie lange brennt so ein Ding?

Soweit ich weiß, reicht Lampenöl wie das aus dem X*nos oder aus dem Baumarkt völlg aus. Probier's einfach aus schlage ich vor, auch was Tücher und Brenndauer betrifft.
Verwende am besten kleine Metalleimer zum Tränken und einen Trichter zum Rückfüllen des überschüssigen Öls, damit so wenig Öl wie möglich in Boden und Grundwasser gelangt.

Aber sei gewarnt:
Wenn es frisch getränkt ist, wird es bei Bewegung noch viele (brennende) Tropfen verlieren!
Besorg dir, falls noch nicht vorhanden, Löschdecke und Feuerlöscher (Kleinformat sollte genügen) - Sicherheit will vorbereitet sein. (Und wirkt professioneller ^~^)
Spiele nicht im Dunkeln, wenn du nicht genau weißt, wann die Flammen erlöschen; stell dir vor, du wirfst das Höllenteil in die Luft, es geht aus und schwebt nun in der Finsternis über dir, unsichtbar. Dein Diabolo scheint aus Kunststoff zu sein, da mögen eventuelle Treffer vielleicht nicht so verheerend sein; die gängigen Feuerdiabolos sind meines Wissens nach aus Metall. Die Verantwortung wäre mir zu groß.
Ich habe selber mit dem Gedanken gespielt, so ein Teil auszuprobieren, mich dann aber doch für die LED-Variante entschieden.
Die Tipps habe ich von Freunden, die selber mit Feuer spielen, also nicht wundern.
@ Mods: Gibt's nicht schon einen Thread über Feuerdiabolos?
Ansonsten sind das alles nur Hinweise, keine Richtlinien. Ich übernehme keine Haftung.

Die Tücher sind aus sog. Kevlargewebe (im Normalfall, aber so siehts auf dem Bild auch aus), ein Kunstoff der sehr hohe Temperaturen aushält. Das hält eigetich fast ewig, was auch gut ist, denn Kevlar ist ziemlich teuer! Die Tücher oder Dochtbänder werden zwar schwarz, aber das ist nur Ruß von der Flamme. Solltest du allerdings so oft und intensiv spielen, dass das Kevlar, doch irgendwann nicht mehr mitmacht, dann bekommst du in jedem Jonglage- oder Zirkusshop Ersatz.
