Ihr habt es sicher alle mitbekommen: Die EU hat letzte Woche den umstrittenen Artikel 17 der Urheberrechtsrichtlinie beschlossen. Dieser bezieht sich unter anderem auf alle Webplattformen, die 3 Jahre und älter sind -- also auch auf dieses Forum. Was allgemein als "Uploadfilter" bekannt ist, kommt demnächst also auch auf Diabolotreff zu. Wir müssen dann sicherstellen, dass jeder Beitrag, der online gestellt wird, auf Unbedenklichkeit geprüft wird -- damit wir nicht aus Versehen die Rechte der Bertelsmanns und Co dieser Welt verletzen.
Wir ihr euch vorstellen könnt, ist dieses Unterfangen für das kleine Team hinter Diabolotreff kaum lösbar. Neben der Tatsache, alle neuen Beiträge (automatisch?) prüfen zu müssen, muss auch jeder einzelne der existierenden fünfzigtausend Posts überprüft werden. Oh je.
Aber keine Bange: Wir haben uns entschieden, das Forum umzuwandeln in eine private WhatsApp Gruppe! Da das keine offene Plattform mehr ist, sollte das rechtlich völlig in Ordnung sein.

In der WhatsApp-Gruppe könnt ihr wie bisher eure Meinungen zu Diabolo, Jonglieren und Co austauschen. Es gibt dort natürlich keine saubere Einteilung wie hier im Forum, daher wird sicher auch mal das ein oder andere lustige Video dazwischen sein.
Ein Archiv bietet WhatsApp natürlich auch nicht. Genauso ist es leider nicht vernünftig durchsuchbar. Die Informationen, die 3 Generationen von Diabolospielern seit 2006 hier online zusammen getragen haben, wird also leider von der Oberfläche des Internet verschwinden.
Wer Mitglied der WhatsApp Gruppe werden möchte, kommentiert bitte hier unter diesem Beitrag. Ich schicke euch dann privat einen Link um der privaten Gruppe beizutreten. Postet gerne euer Lieblings-Gif oder eure persönlichen Top-3-Emoji dazu. Unter allen, die sich diese Mühe geben, verlosen wir einen zusätzlichen Admin-Posten, damit ihr in der WhatsApp-Gruppe etwas mehr zu sagen habt.
Ein Kapitel des kostenlosen öffentlichen Informationsaustauschs geht leider zu Ende. Aber ich bin Konzernen wie Facebook und Co dankbar, dass es dank ihrer werbefinanzierten Services auch weiterhin möglich sein wird, in gewissem Rahmen Informationen (aber bitte nur die richtigen Informationen) auszutauschen.

EDIT: Na gut, na gut, war der 1. April. Aber so ganz ein Scherz ist es halt auch nicht. Was genau passiert wenn diese Uploadfilter wirklich kommen, kann ich selbst noch gar nicht einschätzen.
